SHOW & TELL- HOW TO WIN MY HEART

Good Morning, Friends! Today I am linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals
to share the way to win my heart.

David and I got married on October 17th, 2015, so we are really new at this whole marriage thing.
Now that we are life long roomies (which is so much fun!!!) we are learning more and more about each other everyday. For instance, you don't win my heart by stealing all of the covers in the middle of the night, or by eating the last row of Oreos (a girls gotta eat, am I right?).

My love language is definitely quality time. Whether he takes time out of his busy work day to meet me for a quick lunch, plays a game of Scrabble with me while watching Purdue basketball, or goes on a walk with me and Bentley on the weekends, he definitely makes me feel loved and appreciated. His love language is quality time too, so it works out wonderfully!!

However, he does win my heart by his sweet notes and extremely thoughtful gestures, too. Like the one time I got my wisdom teeth pulled and I found this on my door step. Tears of joy because PUMPKIN PIE BLIZZARD! #heckyeah!

When the Pumpkin Spice Latte came out this fall, he brought me one first thing in the morning. I may have squealed. I think we have a theme of pumpkin flavored things making me feel loved ;) And apparently receiving gifts is another one of my top love languages!

David's sense of humor and intelligence win my heart over and over again, every single day. When I'm feeling sad, he has the perfect joke to get me full belly laughing (and sometimes makes me piddle my pants as I full out sprint to the bathroom!). I also love listening to him passionately talk about his line of work. It wins my heart to see how hard he works to be the most dedicated pharmacist he can be. Love seeing him use his God given talents to help others.

And simple gestures like taking the dog out late at night because he knows I am a complete pansy anytime after 10:00pm, making me a plate to heat up for dinner when I get home after an extra long workday, or folding the laundry because that's my least favorite chore in the entire world. Sweet things like that make me feel extra loved.

So excited for a life time of adventures loving this guy! How did your man win your heart?

  8. My man won my heart by appreciating me for who I am, understanding me like no one else can, & making me laugh at the most random things. I also love spending quality time with Cory. I love that we have similar hobbies. He even takes me to my favorite grocery stores when I visit him. Such a cute post Maddie! I love reflecting on life & what a perfect way to do so. You two are the cutest!
